Punj Lloyd wins 312 Cr Order from Aramco-Sinopec JV

Punj Lloyd has bagged 312 Cr. Saudi Order

Dayim Punj Lloyd, a subsidiary of the Indian EPC group Punj Lloyd announced that it has received an order worth Rs. 312 Cr. on LSTK basis from YASREF a Yanbu based Joint Venture Refinery between Saudi Arabia’s Aramco and Chinese Sinopec.

The project called ‘Clean Fuels Interfacing Facilities Project’ intends to interface YASREF with Aramco Yanbu Refinery for supply of low sulphur clean transportation fuels – diesels and gasoline and to provision transportation of YASREF refined products to the western regional pipeline hub.

The project scope involves construction of 2 pipeline systems 30″ x 7km each for transportation of diesel and gasoline, dedicated metering system for each refined product, HVAC, modification in 3 kerosene tanks and some related or associated works.

This is the 3rd order that Dayim Punj Lloyd has bagged from YASREF.

The current order backlog of Punj Lloyd after this order stands Rs. 19,929 Cr (which includes Libyan order worth Rs. 6,845 Cr that are seeing slow progress).

About YASREFYanbu Aramco Sinopec Refining Company Ltd. is a Saudi-Chinese JV Refinery based in Yanbu Industrial city and spread over 5.2 million square meters. The refinery became operational in September 2014. YASREF consumes 400,000 barrels of Arabian heavy crude per day for production of premium fuels for transportation applications.
