Diamond Power Wins Rs. 53 Cr. Cables Order for Hyperscale Data Centre

Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited, also known as DICABS, has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Aurionpro Solutions Limited for the supply of electrical cables to a hyperscale data centre campus in Hyderabad.
The LoI covers the HYD-20 package of the campus, for which Aurionpro Solutions has been appointed as the EPC contractor. The order is valued at approximately Rs. 53 crore.
DICABS Order Includes Supplying 130 Km of Cables
Scope of work in this order includes supplying around 130 Km of cables. More than 116 Km of the total quantity comprises 1.1 KV grade, XLPE-insulated, FRLS-sheathed 1C x 300 sq. mm copper conductor cables.
Commenting on the order win, Mr. Umesh Chayya, Whole-time Director, Diamond Power Infrastructure, said, “We are supplying into this campus through more than one EPC partner, and we intend to be the reference cable supplier for India’s data centre build-out, our Order book for Data-Center at Present value exceeds Rs 575 cr – we expect to target this segment aggressively”.
Earlier, in July 2026, Diamond Power secured a Rs. 435.71 crore cable supply order for Hyderabad data centres from Larsen & Toubro Limited, Sterling and Wilson Limited, and Blue Star Limited.
Cables to be Supplied from Diamond Power’s Vadodara Plant
The copper cables under the aforementioned order will be supplied from Diamond Power’s newly commissioned copper cable manufacturing line at its Vadodara plant in Gujarat. The line has a production capacity of 1,500 MT of copper cables per month and marks the company’s entry into the copper cable segment.
Highlighting the significance of the new copper cable capability, Mr Chayya said, “This order validates two things — the decision to invest in copper capability, and our ability to hold delivery schedules against a construction programme that moves week to week”.
The company has also announced a capital expenditure of Rs. 168.62 crore for various expansion and modernisation projects at its manufacturing facility in Vadodara, Gujarat.
