Skipper Records Order Inflow of Rs. 765 Cr. in Q1 FY-25, Order Book of Rs. 5,844 Cr.

Skipper Limited, an Indian manufacturer of transformers and Transmission & Distribution (T&D) equipment, has recorded an order inflow of Rs. 765 crore during Q1 of FY-25. The company’s order book stands at Rs. 5,844 crore as of 30th June 2024.

Mr. Sharan Bansal, Director of Skipper Ltd. said that during Q1 of FY-25, the company “secured fresh…orders of Rs. 7,650 million for engineering product supplies and EPC works from countries including Middle East Asia, Africa, and major domestic projects from Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd & SEBs (State Electricity Boards)”.

Exports contributed about Rs. 251 crore to the company’s revenue during Q1 of FY-25 as compared to Rs. 127.4 crore during Q1 of FY-24. Further, the company has a bidding pipeline worth Rs.11,500 crore in overseas market and Rs. 6,500 crore for domestic projects.

Skipper’s Rs. 5,844 crore order book includes 86% of orders from India, while the remaining 14% of orders are for exports. Further, among the domestic orders, T&D orders contributed about 59% to the company’s order book while non-T&D segment contributed to 27% to the order book..
