Sterlite Power Reports Rs. 2,250 Cr. Order Inflow in Q3 FY-25
Sterlite Power Transmission Ltd (earlier this was the Global Products and Services (GPS) division of Sterlite Power Transmission Ltd.) has secured orders collectively worth Rs. 2,250 crore in Q3 of FY-25. The company deals (since demurger of its transmission business division) with manufacturing and supply of conductors, cables and Optical Ground Wires (OPGW). Further, the company has been declared as Lowest (L1) bidder for orders collectively worth Rs. 650 crore during Q3 of FY-25.
Some of the orders won during Q3 FY25 include supplying high-performance conductors for green energy transmission projects in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana, and Maharashtra. During the quarter, the company also secured orders for supplying OPGW to Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (PGCIL) and state utilities. Sterlite Power also won orders for supplying MV, HV and EHV power cables to different state utilities in Q3 FY-25. The company’s EPC business won contracts from leading utilities including a major order from PGCIL for installing OPGW over a 1,900 Km stretch.
