BHEL’s Highest-ever order inflow of Rs. 92,534 crore in FY25
Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL) recorded its highest-ever annual order inflow of Rs. 92,534 crore during FY-25. With this order inflow, the company has a total order book of Rs 1,95,922 crore.
Out of the total order inflow of Rs. 92,534 crore, BHEL has won Rs. 81,349 crore of orders in the power sector. The remaining orders worth Rs. 11,185 crore have been won by through BHEL’s industrial segment. BHEL’s power segment involves manufacturing and supplying wide range of power generation equipment such as steam turbines, generators, boilers and associated auxiliaries. Whereas, the company’s industrial segment includes supplying of equipment for various industries such as defence & aerospace, renewables, transportation and transmission.
BHEL’s revenue for FY-25 stood at Rs. 27,350 crore, marking an increase of 19% Year-over-Year (YoY). The company mentioned in its stock filing, “With double-digit revenue growth, a record order book, and a healthy execution pipeline, BHEL enters FY 2025–26 with strong momentum”.
Some of the major orders secured by the company during FY-25 include Rs. 7,500 Cr. Order for 800 MW Thermal Power Unit in Gujarat, Orders Worth Rs. 12,900 Cr. in Telangana and West Bengal, Rs. 8,000 Crore Order From Mahagenco for 1,320 MW Power Plant, and Rs. 6,100 crore Sipat Thermal Plant Order.
