Diamond Power Q1 FY27 PAT Surges 256% YoY; Revenue Up 129%

Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited, branded as DICABS [NSE: INE989C01038, BOM: 522163], an Indian manufacturer of cables and conductors, has published its Q1 FY27 financial results.

On a standalone basis, the company reported revenue of Rs. 707.31 crore and Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs. 57.09 crore during Q1 FY27.

Diamond Power earned revenue of Rs. 689.88 crore in Q1 FY27 against Rs. 301.82 crore in Q1 FY26, reflecting a YoY jump of 129%. PAT was reported at 58.47 Cr. becoming 3.56 times the Q1 FY26 PAT of Rs. 16.41 crore.
Speaking about Diamond Power’s impressive revenue growth, Mr. Amit Bhatnagar, Head (Corporate Strategy) at the company, said “Our first quarter is always the most seasonally demanding of the year. This year it was more demanding than most. However, we have met our internal target of INR700 crores. And against this backdrop, we more than doubled our top line“.

Earnings Per Share (EPS) of the company were Rs. 1.11 for Q1 FY27 against Rs. 0.31 in Q1 FY26.
Quarterly Analysis of Diamond Power’s Results: Q1 FY27 vs. Q4 FY26
On Quarter-over-Quarter (QoQ) basis, Diamond Power’s revenue decreased slightly by 0.86% from Rs. 695.87 crore recorded during the last quarter of FY26. On the other hand, Diamond Power’s PAT increased by 2.74% to Rs. 56.91 crore profit in Q4 of FY26.
Higher-Value Products, Large Order Drive DICAB’s Growth
Diamond Power has been shifting its focus towards higher-value segments, including Medium Voltage (MV) cables, Extra High Voltage (EHV) products, and specialised cables for digital infrastructure and data centres. This shift has been supported by major order wins during the quarter.
During Q1 FY27, the company received several orders for cable supplies. These included a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited for the supply of cables. Diamond Power also secured three orders worth a combined Rs. 163 crore from Adani Group companies, along with an order from Gujarat Energy Transmission Company Limited (GETCO) for the supply of Extra High Voltage (EHV) cables.
Further, Diamond Power reported an order book of Rs. 3,687.55 crore as of 11th August 2026. Of the total order book, conductors accounted for 51.4%, while Medium Voltage cables contributed 29%. The data centre segment accounted for 11.8%, with the remaining 7.8% attributed to Low Tension and solar cables.
Diamond Power Announces Rs. 168.62 Cr. Capacity Expansion
Diamond Power has announced a capital expenditure (CapEx) of Rs. 168.62 crore for multiple capacity expansion and modernisation projects at its manufacturing facility in Vadodara, Gujarat.
The planned CapEx has been divided into three parts. Part A focuses on expanding the company’s LT cable manufacturing capacity. Part B involves the installation of additional aluminium corrugation lines, while Part C includes the installation of the company’s sixth Catenary Continuous Vulcanization (CCV) line.
