Diamond Power Wins Rs. 76 Cr. EHV Cable Supply Order in Gujarat

Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) worth Rs. 76.05 crore from a ‘domestic EPC contractor’ for the supply of Extra High Voltage (EHV) underground power cables. These cables will be supplied for a 66 KV transmission project in Gujarat.

Under the order, the company will supply 293 Kms of 38/66 KV (E), 1-core, 630 sq. mm aluminium conductor, XLPE-insulated, copper wire-screened, aluminium corrugated-sheathed and HDPE outer-sheathed underground power cables.

As per Diamond Power’s press release, deliveries will commence following manufacturing clearance and are scheduled at a rate of approximately 50 Km per month. The delivery schedule will be based on the project’s requirements.

Commenting on the order win, Mr Umesh Chhayya, Whole-time Director, Diamond Power Infrastructure said, “Extra High Voltage is the segment where our investments in technology, testing and quality show up most clearly, and it is central to how we intend to grow. Our order book continues to build across utilities, renewables, data centres and industrial customers, and we remain focused on executing to schedule”.
