TARIL Wins Transformer Supply Order from Power Grid

Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Limited (TARIL) has secured a transformer supply order from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) under its Ultra-Mega Orders category, which includes contracts valued at Rs. 1,000 crore and above.

Scope of the order includes the manufacturing and supply of transformers of various ratings. In addition to supplying the equipment, TARIL will execute all associated works for the order. According to the company, the transformers are scheduled to be delivered within 30 months from the date of receipt of the order.

Furthermore, the company has not revealed any other information about this order.

Apart from the aforementioned order, TARIL’s other recent order wins include a contract secured in May 2026 for the supply of transformers and reactors collectively valued at Rs. 403.26 crore from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCO) and Bhanwariya Infra Projects Private Limited. Additionally, in April 2026, the company secured an export order worth USD 16.26 million (approximately Rs. 150 crore) for the supply of transformers.
