Apar Industries to Expand its Aluminum Rod Production by 42,000 MTPA

Apar Industries will be expanding its Aluminum rod production by adding a new production line at its existing plant. This information was shared by the company in its stock filing dated 1st February 2025. However, in the filing the company did not mention the location of this expansion.

Apar Industries will be investing Rs. 37.57 crore for adding the aforementioned aluminum rod line. Aluminum rods are used in the production of conductors and cables. Currently, the company produces 1,87,000 Metric Tonnes (MT) of Aluminum rod every year. Through this expansion, the company will add another 42,000 MTPA of Aluminum rod manufacturing capacity. This new production line is expected to be commissioned by Q4 of FY-25.

The company will fund this expansion through its internal accruals. The company is adding this new Aluminum rod line in response to increasing market demand.

Apar Industries recently announced its Q3 FY-25 financials. The company’s Q3 FY-25 revenue grew by 17.66% to Rs. 4,716.42 crore.
