L&T Secures Offshore Hydrocarbon Development Order

L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore (LTEH Offshore), a business segment of Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (L&T), has secured a Rs. 2,500 to 5,000 crore order from Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC).

The order pertains to Additional Development of Ratna–I (ADR I) and NLM-14 project off India’s west coast. Ratna–I and NLM-14 are offshore hydrocarbon fields owned and operated by ONGC.

Under this order, the company will undertake engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of three new well-head platforms. This scope also includes one riser platform, subsea pipelines and cables, and modifications to existing installations.

Commenting on this order, Mr Parthasarathi Chatterjee, Senior Vice President & Head, LTEH, said, “The ADR-I and NLM-14 developments are significant additions to India’s offshore energy infrastructure… These projects combine new offshore facilities with brownfield modifications in existing operating fields, calling for careful planning, engineering integration and precise execution.”
