Sterlite Power Wins Orders Worth Rs. 1,400 Cr.
Sterlite Power Transmission Ltd. has secured orders worth Rs. 1,400 crore in India and overseas.
In India, the company has secured an order for POWERGRID to increase the capacity of its 400 KV Jharsuguda/Sundargarh – Rourkela line by 1.5 times. Additionally, Sterlite Power will supply Optical Ground Wire (OPGW) to L&T for its 765 KV Navasari – Padghe transmission corridor and to Maharashtra Transmission Communication Infrastructure Ltd (MTCIL) for its transmission lines.
Further, Sterlite Power has won an order from Serentica Renewables to develop a 220 KV double-circuit transmission line. The company will also develop transmission corridors that will enable evacuation of renewable energy from upcoming solar parks of Rajasthan and Karnataka to the national grid.
Outside India, the company has won orders for conductors and OPGW in SAARC region.
