Hild Electric Secures Alkaline Electrolysers Contract from NTPC

Hild Electric Private Ltd., a manufacturer of electrolysers, has secured a contract to supply alkaline electrolysers to NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC-REL). NTPC-REL is a renewable energy subsidiary of National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Ltd.

Scope of work in this contract includes the supply of electrolysers with capacities up to 600 MW. These electrolysers will be used in Green Hydrogen and Ammonia production. This project will support NTPC’s targets to produce approximately 150 Kilotons per annum (KTPA) of Green Hydrogen per year by 2032.

Currently, Hild Electric has an alkaline electrolyser manufacturing plant in Chennai.
