Schneider Electric to Establish New Manufacturing Plant in Tamil Nadu

Schneider Electric is developing its new manufacturing plant in Horizon Industrial Park, Hosur, Tamil Nadu. The company is constructing this plant in an area of 5 lakh square feet. This plant will come up in 2 phases, with the first phase expected to be commissioned by January 2026. Phase 2 of this new facility is expected to go live 7 months after the completion of phase 1, that is by August 2026.

The company’s upcoming plant in Hosur will manufacture Battery Management Systems (BMS), Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) units, Power Distribution Units (PDUs), and Precision Cooling Products. In phase 1, the company will develop a dust-free manufacturing area and office for a workforce of around 1,500 people.

Schneider Electric’s Hosur plant will also be equipped with rooftop solar panels and Electric Vehicles (EV) chargers.
