L&T’s Minerals & Metals Division Wins Large Orders Worth Rs. 2,500–5,000 Cr. in India
Larsen & Toubro’s Minerals & Metals (M&M) division has secured multiple orders collectively valued between Rs. 2,500 crore and Rs. 5,000 crore across India. This information was announced by the company in its official press release dated 24th October 2025.
One of the major projects among these has been awarded by Hindalco Industries Limited to L&T for setting up a 180 Kilo Tonne Per Annum (KTPA) Aluminium Smelter along with a Gas Treatment Centre (GTC) in Odisha. Under this contract, L&T will be responsible for civil and structural works, supply and erection of the smelter, as well as EPC execution and installation of the Gas Treatment Centre.
Additionally, L&T has secured an order from Tata Steel Limited for the engineering, manufacturing, supply, construction, and installation of a 1 Million Metric Tonne Per Annum (MMTPA) Coke Oven Battery at its Jamshedpur facility.
Moreover, aforementioned orders also include those secured by Product Business Unit of L&T’s M&M division from various clients across India for the supply of mining and material handling equipment. Some of this equipment includes stacker reclaimers, wagon tipplers, crushers, and surface miners.
