KEC International Secures Orders Worth Rs. 1,123 Crore
KEC International has secured orders cumulatively worth Rs. 1,123 crore across its Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Railways, Civil and Cable businesses. This information was given by the company in a press release dated 21st September 2022.
KEC’s T&D business has secured orders for building two substations in India. One of these orders is for building a 400 KV Digital Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) for Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (PGCIL or POWERGRID). The other order is for building a GIS for an Indian industrial developer.
In the Railways segment, KEC has secured an order to build structures associated with a new railway line in India.
KEC’s Civil business has secured an order for infrastructural works in the Indian Hydrocarbon industry.
In addition to these orders, the company has received orders for the supply of different types of cables in India as well as overseas.
Commenting on these order, Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International said, “With these orders, our Year-To-Date (YTD) order intake has now surpassed Rs. 7,000 crores, a robust growth of about 25% vis-à-vis last year.”
