Bangalore Metro Rail Invites Bids for Procuring 318 Coaches
Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) invited bids for procurement of 318 driverless coaches for its Phase 2 Pink Line, Phase 2A and Phase 2B projects on 19th September 2022.
As per the tender, BMRCL will procure 96 coaches for the 21.386 Km long Pink Line, 96 coaches for 18.2 Km Phase 2A and 126 coaches for the 37 Km long Phase 2B of the Bangalore Metro.
Scope of work as per the tender entails design, manufacture, supply and installation of these coaches. The winner will also be responsible for testing and commissioning of these Standard Gauge metro coaches. Scope of this tender also includes training of personnel for a period of up to 15 years under Bangalore Metro Rail Phases 2, 2A and 2B.
Last date to submit bids is 12th December 2022. BMRCL has not specified the completion period for this procurement.
