Adani to Set Up Cement Plant in Maharashtra
Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL), has incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary, Adani Cement Industries Limited (ACIL), to manufacture all types of cement on June 11, 2021.
Adani Cement, headquartered in Gujarat, will carry on business as manufacturer, producer, processor of all types of cement.
Details of the Upcoming Adani Cement Plant
Adani Cement Industries Limited has identified about 100 acres of land for the upcoming cement plant near Shahbaj village in Alibag taluka of Raigad district near the coastal region of Maharashtra.
At present about 25 acres land has been acquired for the Cement project which will have a Cement plant of five million TPA capacity with an approximate investment of Rs. 900-1,000 Crore.
Adani Cement Industries will also have a captive jetty in the district to source fly ash and clinker, besides other dry bulk cargo of raw materials required for the plant.
