Vikran Engineering Secures Rs. 2,035 Cr. Order to Develop 600 MW Solar Power Projects

Vikran Engineering Ltd. has secured an order worth Rs. 2,035 crore to develop 600 MW of solar power projects across multiple locations in Maharashtra. Vikran Engineering received the said order from Onix Renewables Ltd. The company shared this information via a press release dated 23rd December, 2025.

As per the press release, this order is to be executed on a turnkey basis. Further, the company will oversee and execute the overall design, engineering, procurement, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of the aforementioned solar projects.

As part of this project, the company will also supply solar PV modules and inverters. The project completion time is set to be within 12 months.

Commenting on this win, Mr. Rakesh Markhedkar, Chairman and Managing Director, Vikran Engineering Ltd., said, “This win meaningfully strengthens our order book and positions us well for sustained growth”. As of 10th November 2025, Vikran Engineering’s total order book stands at over Rs. 4,000 crore. Off which, solar segment makes up for 50% of the order book. Power Transmission & Distribution segment contributes 32% and the remaining 18% of the order book comes from Water & Railway Infrastructure business.
