This upcoming display fabrication unit will cater to the existing customers of Dixon Technologies across its mobile, television, and notebook manufacturing segments.
Mr. Lall added that the company is awaiting rollout of policy guidelines under India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) 2.0 by the Indian Government to move the project forward. Mr. Lall said that the major part of the USD 3 billion CapEx for this project will be subsidized by the Indian Government.
Phase 1 of India Semiconductor Mission (ISM 1.0) was announced by the Union Government in December 2021 with a total outlay of Rs. 76,000 crore.
