Tata Solar Wins Rs 1,731 Crore NHPC Solar Project

Tata Power’s solar energy arm, Tata Power Solar, has won an order worth Rs 1,731 from National Hydro Power Corporation (NHPC) for a solar project. This information was given by Tata Power on 16^th May 2022.

The solar project, which is to be developed under the Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) scheme of Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA), is in Rajasthan. Tata Power stated that this project is set to be complete in 18 months, and will generate approximately 750 million units annually. Made in India solar cells and modules shall be used in this project.
