Tata Power and IIT Delhi to Collaborate on High Tech areas like Smart Grid, Clean Energy, EV Infra

Tata Power and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate in areas like smart grid technology, clean energy solutions, a release from Tata Power said.

This collaboration has been made considering the large expert pool that both IIT Delhi and Tata Power have.

Both the institutions have agreed to work together to identify projects that can be transformed from the R&D stage to pilot projects and scaling in areas such as battery energy storage systems, monitoring, and sensing solutions, microgrids, EV infrastructure, artificial intelligence, machine learning, hydrogen technologies etc. The academia, research and domain experts from business collaboration may help develop viable solutions.
