SJVN Secures 100 MW Solar Project Worth Rs. 600 Cr. in Rajasthan
SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) Ltd has secured a 100 MW solar project from Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (RUVNL). The estimated cost for the development of this project is Rs. 600 crore.
As per SJVN’s stock filing dated 5th May 2023, SGEL has won this project through Tariff Based Competitive Bidding at a tariff rate of Rs. 2.62 per unit, and will develop this project on Build-Own-Operate (BOO) basis. This upcoming solar project will generate 252 MU (Million Units) of electricity for the first year and a cumulative 5,866 MU in a span of 25 years.
