Schneider Electric Launches Miluz Lara Range of Switches & Sockets
Schneider Electric, a France-based manufacturer of electrical goods, has launched ‘Miluz Lara’ range of switches and sockets for homes and buildings in India.
Overview of Schneider Electric’s Newly Launched Range of Switches and Sockets
Schneider Electric’s Miluz Lara range of switches and sockets includes ‘controls’, ‘comfort controls’, socket outlets, communication outlets, and cover frames.
‘Controls’ include switches rated 10 Ampere (A), 16A, 20A, and 32A, 25A motor starter switches, blank-off units, and LED phase indicators. ‘Comfort controls’ include dimmers, air quality indicators, door chimes, LED footlamps, 6A bell push switches, and fan regulators. Socket outlets consist of socket adaptors, voltage surge protectors, standard socket outlets, and USB chargers. Additionally, the communication outlets include data sockets, telephone sockets, TV sockets and HDMI sockets.
Miluz Lara Modules Compliant with RoHS
In this newly launched range, Schneider Electric will manufacture modules using copper contacts and nickel rivets. These rivets are compliant with Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) certification. These modules will be manufactured using fire-resistant polycarbonate materials.
Miluz Lara range also includes switches with IP20 rating, which specifies that product is touchproof and will be resistant to dust or objects.
Further, features like real time information (in air quality indicators), surge voltage protectors to safeguard appliances from voltage surges is also included in this product range. Additionally, it includes fast-charging USB A+C ports.

Integration with Mivan Aluminum Formwork System
Schneider’s newly launched range of switches and sockets is manufactured to meet specifications of Mivan Aluminum Formwork System*. This system ensures that Miluz Lara modules fit precisely within formwork’s design parameters, facilitating easier installation and superior performance in modern building projects.
*Mivan aluminum formwork system is a modular construction method that uses aluminum panels to create large moulds which are then filled with concrete.
