Salasar Techno Secures Rs. 232 Cr. Transmission Line Project in Uttar Pradesh

Salasar Techno Engineering Ltd. has secured a Rs. 232 crore transmission line project. The order has been awarded by Uttar Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation Ltd (UPPTCL). Salasar Techno is an Indian infrastructure company specializing in customized galvanized steel structures and EPC services.

Scope of work in this project involves engineering, design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of 400 KV Banda-Chitrakoot transmission line. This Double Circuit (DC) line will use twin moose conductors. This transmission line will span approximately 130 Km.

The Banda-Chitrakoot transmission line project will be executed on a turnkey basis. Furthermore, this project will be funded via Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW), a German state-owned development bank.

Uttar Pradesh’s power transmission network is expected to be strengthened with the future addition of this transmission line. This project will support the state’s growing demands by enhancing grid stability and reliability, and also reducing transmission losses in the state.
