Reliance the First Indian Company to Cross $100 Billion Revenue
Reliance Industries became the first Indian company to clock a consolidated revenue of over $100 billion.
Reliance recorded consolidated revenue of Rs 7,92,756 crore ($104.6 billion) for FY-22, which is a 47% increase as compared to Rs 539,238 crore revenue during the previous fiscal year. Moreover, Reliance India Limited’s (RIL) net profits for FY-22 rose by 26% Year-on-Year to Rs 67,845 crore from Rs 53,739 crore.
Speaking about Reliance’s financial performance, Mr Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and MD, RIL, said “Despite the ongoing challenges of the pandemic and heightened geopolitical uncertainties, Reliance has delivered a robust performance in 2021-22. I am pleased to report strong growth in our digital services and retail segments”.
