Premier Energies Ltd., a solar cell and module manufacturer, has won an order from NTPC Ltd. for the supply of 680 MW bifacial solar modules at a cost of Rs. 1,700 crore. The company has secured this order for NTPC’s solar power project which is being developed at Nokh, Rajasthan.
These solar power modules will be manufactured at Premier Energies’ 40 acre facility located in Hyderabad, Telangana. The delivery of these modules are expected to be completed in a period of nine months.
The 925 MW Nokh solar park was developed at Jaisalmer after Rajasthan Solarpark Development Company Ltd. (RSDCL) and NTPC signed an agreement in February 2020. This solar park has been developed at an estimated cost of Rs. 4,450 crore.
