Powergrid Corporation of India Ltd. (PGCIL) has won three Interstate Transmission System (ISTS) projects at an estimated cost of Rs. 452 crore. The company has secured these projects under Regulated Tariff Mechanism (RTM) mode.
PGCIL has won a project in Madhya Pradesh to increase transformation capacity at 765/400KV Indore substation by adding a 1500 MVA Interconnecting Transformer (ICT) at an estimated cost of Rs. 126 crore.
In Andhra Pradesh, the company has secured an order to augment capacity at 765/400KV Kurnool substation by adding a ICT of 1500 MVA. This project is expected to be completed at an estimated cost of Rs. 162 crore.
Power Grid has also secured an order for reconductoring 400KV single-circuit Raichur-Veltoor line, spanning across Karnataka and Telangana with High Temperature Low Sag (HTLS) Conductors at an estimated cost of Rs. 164 crore. This project is expected to be completed in a period of 24 months.
