KEI Industries Acquires Land in Gujarat for Future Expansion Plans
KEI Industries Limited has acquired a parcel of industrial land measuring 45,964.92 square meter from Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC). This land parcel spans across plot numbers 832 to 836 of Sanand II, in Ahmedabad’s Industrial Estate. This information was shared by the company in its stock filing dated 16th July 2025.
The company has acquired this land at an approximate cost of Rs. 23.05 crore. KEI Industries mentioned that this land will be used for the company’s future expansion plans. However, the company did not specify the nature of expansion pertaining to the aforementioned land acquisition.

Notably, this upcoming plant will also manufacture High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) cables. Once completed, this plant is set to the company’s largest yet. The company will invest about Rs. 1,300 crore in this project, spread out during FY26 and FY27.
Apart from acquiring land in Gujarat, the company had also acquired land in Rajasthan in May 2025. This land parcel was also acquired for KEI’s expansion plans.
