KEC International Wins T&D Orders Worth Rs. 1,100 Cr. in India & Overseas
KEC International Ltd. has won new Transmission & Distribution (T&D) orders worth Rs. 1,100 crore in India and overseas. This information was shared by KEC International in its stock filing dated 16th July 2024.
The company has secured orders for laying 765 KV transmission line and establishing 765 KV Gas Insulated Substation in India for Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL).
Additionally, KEC International will lay a 132 KV transmission line in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The company will also supply towers in Australia and the Americas, along with hardware and poles for projects in the Americas.
Commenting on these order wins, Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO of KEC International Ltd., said “We are delighted with the continuous inflow of orders, especially in our T&D business. With the above orders, our YTD order intake has exceeded Rs 6,000 crores, a staggering growth of over 80% vis-à-vis last year”.
