KEC International Wins Orders Collectively Worth 1,025 Cr. in T&D and Cable Segments

KEC International Limited has secured orders totaling Rs. 1,025 crore in Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and Cables segments. The company shared this information in its stock filing dated June 26, 2024.

In the T&D sector, KEC International has been awarded a contract to establish a 765 KV Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) in India for Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL). Additionally, in West Africa, the company has secured a contract for a ‘225 KV composite project’, involving the installation of substations, transmission lines, and underground cables. KEC will also supply towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas.

In the Cables segment, KEC International’s orders include supplying various types of cables both in India and overseas.

Commenting on these order wins, Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO of KEC International Ltd., said “The orders in T&D have substantially expanded our order book in both domestic and international markets. With the above orders, our YTD order intake has surpassed Rs. 4,000 crores, with a staggering growth of over 70% vis-à-vis last year”.
