Kalpataru Projects Wins Rs. 719 Cr Order for Thane Metro Project

Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL), one of the EPC players in Power Transmission and Distribution (T&D) and civil infrastructure sectors, has secured an order worth Rs. 719 crore for Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited’s (Maha Metro) Thane Metro project; Maha Metro being the execution agency for the Thane Metro project.

The company has won this project from Maha Metro.

As per the newly secured contract, KPIL, along with its JV partner, will be responsible for execution of civil works for an elevated metro rail project in Thane, Maharashtra. However, the company has not disclosed any additional details regarding the scope or timeline of this order.

Commenting on the order win, Mr. Manish Mohnot, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kalpataru Projects Ltd. said, “The elevated metro rail order in Thane has strengthened our presence in the growing urban transportation EPC business, reinforcing our confidence in the growth potential of our Urban Infra business in India”.

Mr. Manish further mentioned that this latest order win has strengthened the company’s overall order inflow. Earlier, in December 2025, Kalpataru Projects had secured new orders aggregating to Rs. 2,003 crore across its Buildings and Factories (B&F) and Transmission and Distribution (T&D) business segments.
