Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Ltd. (TRIL) [NSE: TRIL, BOM: 532928], a transformer manufacturing company, has released its financials for Q3 of FY-24.

Transformers & Rectifiers’ Q3 FY-24 Standalone Financials

Transformers & Rectifiers reported Rs. 365.30 crore as standalone revenue from operations during Q3 of FY-24. Further, the company reported a Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs. 13.40 crore during Q3 of FY-24.

Earning Per Share (EPS) of TRIL stood at Rs. 0.95 in Q3 of FY-24.

TRIL’s Year-over-Year (YoY) consolidated revenue increased by 11.41% to Rs. 369.35 crore during Q3 of FY-24 from Rs. 331.51 crore reported for Q3 of FY-23. The company recorded a PAT of Rs. 15.72 crore in Q3 of FY-24 which represents a YoY increase of 11.33% from Rs. 14.12 crore profit clocked during Q3 of FY-23.

Transformers & Rectifiers’ EPS was Rs. 1.10 during Q3 of FY-24 against Rs. 1.04 in Q3 of FY-23.

QoQ Comparison of Transformers & Rectifiers’ Financial Results: Q3 FY-24 vs. Q2 FY-24

On a Quarter-over-Quarter (QoQ) basis, the company’s revenue jumped by 43.68% from Rs. 257.06 crore during Q2 of FY-24. Furthermore, Transformers & Rectrifiers’ Q3 FY-24 PAT was 8.32 times of its Q2 FY-24 PAT, which stood at Rs. 1.89 crore.

TRIL’s Order Inflow Grows 69% YoY in Q3 FY-24

During the company’s earnings call for its Q3 FY-24 financial performance, Mr. Satyen Mamtora, Managing Director of TRIL stated that the company received new orders worth Rs. 701 crore during Q3 of FY-24 against Rs. 414 crore orders during Q3 of FY-23. This represents an increase of 69% on YoY basis.

Further, the company’s unexecuted order book as on 31st December 2023 stands at Rs. 2,572 crore with 60% of the orders from utilities, 27% from industrial segment, 8% from renewables and the remaining 5% from exports.

Mr. Mamtora further said “Currently, in the domestic market, tenders and inquiries for domestic market of value Rs. 4,256 crore are under negotiation or bidding stage whereas in the export market, export inquiries of USD 127 million are under negotiation”.
