JSW Steel Posts INR 5,900 Crore Net Profit in Q1 FY-22

Indian Steelmaker, JSW Steel Ltd. has reported its highest ever consolidated net profit of INR 5,900 Crore in the first quarter of FY-22 owing to a surge in the prices of Steel.

The company had reported a loss of INR 582 Crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

JSW Steel’s consolidated revenue from operations has risen more than doubled to INR 28,902 Crore in Q1 FY22 from INR 11,782 Crore in Q1 FY21.
