JSW Neo Energy Wins 300 MW Hybrid Power Project from SECI

JSW Neo Energy Ltd. has been awarded a Letter of Award (LoA) by Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) to establish a 300 MW Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS)-connected windsolar hybrid power project. The company shared this information in its stock filing dated 21st June 2024.

The project was secured through SECI’s auction under Tariff based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) for developing 1,200 MW ISTS-connected hybrid power projects across India (Tranche VIII). JSW had quoted Rs. 3.45 per unit as tariff during SECI’s auction.

With this contract, JSW Neo Energy’s portfolio now comprises about 13.6 GW of Renewable Energy (RE) projects. This includes 7.3 GW of operational projects, 2.6 GW of projects under construction, and 3.7 GW of projects which have been planned and are in the pipeline. These projects cover wind, thermal, and hydro power segments.
