GE Power India Wins Rs. 243 Cr. Work Order from NTPC GE Power Services

GE Power India Limited has been awarded a Rs. 243.46 crore work order by NTPC GE Power Services Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture between GE Power India and NTPC Limited. The company has received the Letter of Intent (LoI) for this order.

Under this agreement, GE Power India will undertake the renovation and modernization of steam turbines at Wanakbori Thermal Power Station (TPS) Unit No. 1 and Unit No. 2. Each of these units have a capacity of 210 MW. These turbines have been made by St. Petersburg-headquartered Leningrad Machine Works (LMZ). The objective of this project is to improve the heat rate efficiency and extend the operational lifespan of these units.

This project is expected to be completed in a period of 33 months.
