JK Cement Inaugurates 2,850 Cr. Production Line at its Panna Plant

JK Cement Limited has inaugurated a new production line at its cement production plant at Panna, Madhya Pradesh. This addition will double the plant’s clinker production capacity from 3.3 Million Metric Tonnes Per Annum (MMTPA) to 6.6 MMTPA. The company has invested about Rs. 2,850 crore for this expansion.

The new production line at JK Cement includes automation systems for monitoring and minimizing human intervention. Further, Panna cement production plant incorporates waste heat recovery systems to reduce energy consumption and lower carbon footprint. This expansion is expected to cater to cement demand in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Central India.

Commenting on this development, Dr. Raghavpat Singhania, Managing Director, JK Cement, said “This strategic expansion allows us to meet the rising demand for high-quality cement, ultimately enhancing our ability to serve our customers”.
