Jakson Emerges L1 Bidder for E&M Works on Chennai Metro’s Line-5

Jakson Limited has emerged as Lowest (L1) bidder for Electrical & Mechanical (E&M) works on Chennai Metro’s Line-5 under package C5-EM-03. The company has submitted a bid of Rs. 201.50 crore for this contract.

Scope of wok in this contract includes supplying, installing, testing and commissioning of electrical, plumbing, fire protection, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (VAC) works, and the Building Management System (BMS). These works will be executed on 10 elevated stations and 6 underground stations on Corridor-5 of Phase-II of Chennai Metro Rail Project from Chainage (Ch.) 76.000 to Ch. 16399.716 excluding Madhavaram Milk Colony Station and Grain Market Station.

This contract is expected to be executed in a period of about 5 years 3 months.
