J Kumar Infraprojects Ltd. Bags Orders worth Rs. 2,031 Crore

J Kumar Infraprojects Limited, a Mumbai headquartered civil construction and contracting company has received two orders, one from Pune Municipal Corporation and the other from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) worth a total value of Rs. 2,031.74 crore.

J Kumar Infra’s INR 604 Cr Pune River Rejuvenation Order from Pune Municipal Corporation

J Kumar Infraprojects Limited has won a work order from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) for development of Stretch 10 and 11 of Pune River Rejuvenation Project. The Pune River Rejuvenation project is modelled after the Ahmedabad Sabarmati riverfront, and involves the development and beautification of 44 Km river stretch, which includes Mula, Mutha, and Mula-Mutha rivers.

Scope of work in Stretch 10 and 11 of the project includes construction & development of riverside road from Bund Garden Bridge to Mundhwa (Right Hand Side) on Public Private Partnership (PPP) model.

The value of this contract is Rs. 604.75 crore, and it has a completion deadline of 36 months.

J Kumar Infra’s INR 1,427 Crore Delhi MRTS Order Secured from DMRC

J Kumar Infraprojects has received a Letter of Acceptance from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), dated 9th March 2022, for package DC-08 of the Delhi Metro Silver Line. This package is for a 6.116 Km underground section of the Delhi Metro Silver Line from Aerocity to Kishangarh.

The scope of work includes design and construction of twin tunnel (Up & Down Line) by Shield Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM), cut and cover tunnel box and four underground stations namely, Aerocity, Mahipalpur, Vasant Kunj and Kishangarh with Entry/Exits & Connecting subways of Aerocity to Tughlakabad Corridor of Phase-IV of Delhi Mass Rapid Transport System (MRTS).

The value of this project is Rs. 1,426.99 crore, and it has a completion deadline of 42 months.

Other Ongoing Projects of J Kumar Infraprojects Limited

Other ongoing projects being executed by J Kumar include a project for the Mumbai Metro, and another for the Surat Metro.

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) had issued a letter of acceptance to J Kumar Infraprojects Limited in May, 2021 for a project worth Rs. 1,307.88 crore to complete pending civil work on Mumbai Metro’s Line 2B (DN Nagar to BKC).

J Kumar Infraprojects Limited had also won a Rs. 942 crore project for the design and construction of an underground segment and three underground stations for the Surat Metro in December 2020.
