KEC International Gets Orders worth Rs. 1,131 Crore

KEC International stated in a press release dated 3rd March, 2022, that it has got orders worth a total of Rs. 1,131 crore across Transmission and Distribution (T&D), Railways, Civil and Cables sectors.

In the T&D sector, KEC has received project orders from the Middle East and the Americas. Orders in the Middle East include some new customers and have been bagged by KEC’s EPC subsidiary in the UAE.

In the Railways sector, KEC has received an order for 2 x 25 KV overhead electrification (OHE) and associated works for speed up-gradation. These orders are for Railway electrification in India.

KEC has also got orders from the Civil sector, which include orders in cement, and in residential and public spaces segment in India. KEC has also received orders for various types of cables from India and other countries.

In the press release Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, MD and CEO, KEC International added “With these orders, our YTD order intake has crossed Rs 15,000 crore, with a robust growth of ~60% vis-à-vis last year. We are witnessing a gradual uptick in the North American T&D market as witnessed by the flow of orders in Americas secured by our subsidiary SAE towers“.
