L&T Wins Contracts Valuing upto Rs 2,500 Cr in Water Treatment and Distribution

L&T Construction, the construction arm of Larsen and Toubro Limited, has secured significant* value projects (combined value between ₹1,000 to 2,500 crore) for its water & effluent treatment business.

These contracts include one EPC order placed by Gujarat Water Infrastructure Limited (GWIL) for the design and construction of the Dhanki-Navda Bulk Pipeline project. Scope of work for the GWIL project includes design & construction of 99 Kms bulk transmission Mild Steel (MS) pipeline, 10.5 Million Litres RCC raw water sump & pump house and associated electro-mechanical & instrumentation works.

Other than this contract, L&T has also announced securing an order for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of water distribution network and large meter connections in Dubai. The scope of work of this project includes water distribution networks of 137 Km Glass Reinforced Epoxy (GRE) Pipelines, micro tunnelling works, Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) and associated civil, mechanical and electrical works.
