Finolex Launches E-Beam Technology Based Cable Range FinoUltra
Finolex Cables has announced the launch of FinoUltra range of wires. The new wire range is designed to meet demands of residential, commercial, and industrial applications. FinoUltra is being manufactured using Electron Beam (E-beam) technology.
E-Beam Technology for Enhanced Durability and Performance
The E-beam technology used for manufacturing FinoUltra wires range significantly improves the mechanical and thermal properties of wires. For this extruded cable is passed under electron beam and energised electrons penetrate into the material and produce carbon-carbon double bond (cross-linking) which is 75-80% higher than chemical crosslinking. This enables the E-Beam processed wires to sustain higher voltages with reduced radial thickness, and increases their lifespan to over 50 years. The E-beam cross-linking technology enhances current capacity by 75% compared to standard wires, thereby reducing energy loss, minimizing overheating, and optimizing overall performance. Additionally, FinoUltra wires can withstand temperatures up to 125°C and low temperatures upto -40°C, making them suitable for outdoor and extreme environments.
FinoUltra wires are Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) and offer UV Protection
FinoUltra wires are designed to withstand temperature fluctuations, UV radiation, and chemical exposure. FinoUltra wires also include wires with Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) technology, which significantly decreases the emission of smoke and toxic gases during fires. The FinoUltra cable range also feature pest-and termite-resistant properties which further mitigate risks of electrical damage and fire hazards.
