Finolex Cables Plans 300 Cr. CapEx for FY27

Finolex Cables Limited has outlined its Capital Expenditure (CapEx) plans for FY27 during its earnings call for the financial year 2025-26.

As per the company, out of the total Rs. 300 crore investment, Rs. 200 crore will be allocated towards existing capacity expansion projects. The investment will primarily be used to double the company’s solar cable manufacturing capacity and enhance its Extra High Voltage (EHV) power cable production capabilities.

The remaining Rs. 100 crore will be invested in Finolex Cables’ under-development preform manufacturing facility in Pune. As part of this project, the company plans to increase its fibre draw capacity from 4 million fibre kilometres to 8 million fibre kilometres. According to the management, the Pune preform plant is expected to be commissioned by July or August 2026, further strengthening the company’s optical fibre manufacturing capabilities.
