BHEL Wins Rs. 2,600 Cr. Boiler-Turbine-Generator Supply Order in MP

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from MB Power (Madhya Pradesh) Limited. This order is for the supply of equipment worth Rs. 2,600 crore for the 800 MW Anuppur Thermal Power Project (TPP) in Madhya Pradesh. This information was shared by the company in its stock filing dated 3rd September 2025.

Interestingly, Anuppur Thermal Power project is an ultra-supercritical thermal plant being developed by Adani Power.

Scope of work under this order includes the supply of boiler, turbine, and generator, along with auxiliaries for 1×800 MW Anuppur TPP. BHEL will also supply associated control and instrumentation systems. The boiler will be manufactured at BHEL’s plant in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, while the turbine generators will be produced at the company’s manufacturing facility in Haridwar, Uttarakhand.

This order is expected to be completed and executed within a period of 58 months.
