Ashoka Buildcon L1 Bidder for Two Bridges on Revas-Reddi Coastal Highway Maharashtra

Ashoka Buildcon Limited has emerged as Lowest (L1) bidder for constructing two bridges on the Revas-Reddi Coastal Highway in Maharashtra. These projects will be executed on Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis.

One of the aforementioned bridges will be developed over Jaigad River, connecting Tavasal and Sandelavagan in Ratnagiri District. Scope of work in this contract includes development of a 4.4 Km long, two-lane bridge. Ashoka Buildcon had submitted a bid of Rs. 794.85 crore against Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation’s (MSRDC) estimate of Rs. 625.87 crore for this project.

The second bridge will be developed over the Kundalika River in Maharashtra. This 3.8 Km bridge will connect Revdanda and Salav in Raigad District. MSRDC’s tender had specified a development cost of Rs. 1,061.67 crore for this project against which Ashoka Buildcon had submitted a bid of Rs. 1,357.87 crore.

Maharashtra State Road Development Corp. had invited bids for these projects in March 2024 and had specified a completion period of 3 years for both bridges.
