Ankur Dev Appointed KEC’s Executive Director (Transportation)

KEC’s Executive Director (Transportation), Mr. Dev, graduated with B.Com (Hons.) in Accounting and Finance from Delhi University in 2002. He also holds a Chartered Accountant certification, which he earned in 2004 from The Institute of Chartered Accountant of India (ICAI). He then pursued Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) from 2012 to 2016. In 2017, Mr. Dev became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He then completed senior management programme in business administration and management in 2018 from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta.
Mr. Dev has over 20 years of professional experience, and began his career in 2004 with S.S Kothari Mehta & Co. as Senior Executive (Internal Audit). Then in 2005, he joined Reliance Industries Ltd. as Manager (Finance & Accounts) and worked there for over 3 years. Following this, Mr. Dev served as Senior Manager (Finance & Accounts) at Bharti Airtel from 2008 to 2012. He then went on to work in Ernst & Young as Manager (Financial Accounting Advisory Services) for a short period, from June 2012 to January 2013. Following this, Mr. Dev joined Samsung India in January 2013 as Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (South West Asia) and worked there for more than 5 years.
Before being appointed as Executive Director (Transportation) of KEC, Mr. Dev was heading the railway business of Escorts Ltd. as Chief Officer. He had joined Escorts in 2018 as its Deputy Chief Financial Officer and became Chief Officer for the company’s railway business in 2021.
