Ampln Energy to Invest 3,100 Cr. for RE Projects in Eastern India

Ampln Energy Transition Pvt. Ltd. will be investing Rs. 3,100 crore for developing Renewable Energy (RE) projects of over 600 MW capacity and a 1.3 GW solar cell and modules manufacturing facility in Eastern India.

Ampln Energy will make the aforementioned investments in Bihar, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Jharkhand, and other NorthEastern states of India. Commenting on this development, Mr. Pinaki Bhattacharyya, MD and CEO of AmpIn Energy Transition, said, “AmpIn is ready to partner with any customer to achieve 100% renewable energy, and we believe that with initiatives like Green Energy Open Access, the shift to renewables is inevitable”.

Earlier, in October 2023, AmpIn Energy had signed a Joint Venture (JV) agreement with Jupiter International Limited to set up a solar cell and modules manufacturing facility in India.
