Ampln Energy-Jupiter JV to Set up 1.3 GW Solar Module Plant in India
AmpIn Energy Transition Pvt. Ltd. has signed a Joint Venture (JV) agreement with Jupiter International Limited to establish a 1.3 GW solar PV cell and solar modules manufacturing facility in India. Ampln Energy Transition shared this information in its press release dated 25th October 2023.
AmpIn-Jupiter JV will develop the aforementioned plant under tranche-II of Indian Government’s Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme.
Commenting on this partnership, Mr. Pinaki Bhattacharyya, MD and CEO of AmpIn Energy Transition, said, “This move will help us achieve backward integration and enhance our control over the supply chain for crucial components, which would help us optimize our operations for quality, efficiency and cost-effectiveness”.
