Gensol Engineering Secures 301 Cr. Solar Project from Maharashtra GenCo

Gensol Engineering Ltd. has won an order to develop a solar plant and its associated works in Maharashtra. The company has won this project from Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Ltd. at an estimated cost of Rs. 301.5 crore.

Gensol will be responsible for designing, engineering, provisioning, and installation of 62 MW solar power plant. Following this, testing and commissioning of the plant will also be done by the company. In addition, related HT overhead transmission line/underground cable and providing necessary electrical equipment are included in the scope of work for Gensol Engineering. The project also includes developing bays that will be connected to 220 KV bays at Paras Substation.

The company will also provide Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services for a period of 3 years.
