Vedanta Ltd. Appoints Mr. Ravi Shahi as Chief Commercial Officer

Vedanta Ltd. has appointed Mr. Ravi Shahi as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for the company’s Aluminium Business in Jharsuguda.

Mr. Shahi completed his Master of Management Studies (MMS) program in 1997 from International Institute of Professional Studies. Further, he earned Certified Professional in Materials Management (CPM) certification from Indian Institute of Materials Management in 2007.

Mr. Shahi has extensive experience working in mining and metals industry. He started his career as an Assistant Manager for Hindalco Industries Ltd.’s Renusagar Power division in January 1998 and served there for nearly a decade.

Later on, Mr. Shahi joined Ultratech Cement in 2007 as its Senior Manager for Materials before rejoining Hindalco- Hirakud in March 2011 as Head Materials & Logistics. He then served as Assistant Vice President at Hindalco for over 3 years till May 2018. He joined Lafarge Holcim Group in 2018 as its Vice President and served the position till December 2022 before joining Vedanta.

Prior to his recent appointment, Mr. Ravi Shahi served at Vedanta as its Director of Fuel Security, starting from December 2022, for over 3 years. Now, as the Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Shahi will focus on enhancing and strengthening company’s Aluminum Business
