Bansal Wire Q2 FY27 PAT Grows 38% YoY with Focus on Retail
Bansal Wire Industries Limited, [BSE: 544209, NSE: BANSALWIRE], a manufacturer of stainless steel wires, has announced its financial results for second quarter of FY27.
Bansal Wire’s Standalone Financial Results for Q2 FY27
Bansal Wire’s standalone revenue from operations stood at ₹1,276.25 crore during Q2 FY27. The company’s Profit After Tax (PAT) for the period stood at ₹40.87 crore.

On Year-over-Year (YoY) basis, the company’s revenue increased by 23.95% to ₹1,308.14 crore during Q2 FY27 from ₹1,055.40 crore in Q2 FY26. Bansal Wire’s PAT also jumped to ₹52.90 crore in the second quarter of FY27 from ₹38.32 crore in Q2 FY26. This growth in numbers represents a YoY increase of 38.05% in Bansal Wire’s PAT.
Bansal Wire’s Earnings Per Share (EPS) were ₹0.68 during Q2 FY27 and ₹0.49 for Q2 FY26.
Commenting on the results, Mr. Pranav Bansal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Bansal Wire, said: “I am extremely pleased to share that this has been a landmark quarter for Bansal Wire Industries”. He added that this growth is supported ‘by a combination of factors, including better operational efficiency, improved cost management, and a favorable product mix’.
QoQ Growth in Bansal Wire’s Numbers: PAT Increases 158%
Bansal Wire’s Q2 FY27 revenue is 12.01% higher than its Q1 FY27 revenue of ₹1,167.89 crore. On Quarter-over-Quarter (QoQ) basis, the company’s PAT jumped by 158.55% from ₹20.46 crore profit during first quarter of FY27.

During the company’s Q2 FY27 earnings call, Mr. Bansal said that the specialty wire business segment is progressing well and remains an important part of the company’s ‘growth strategy’. He added that the company is also expanding its B2C business. While the company has traditionally focused on industrial customers, it is now expanding into farming, fencing, poultry, and other retail-oriented applications. The company has launched several products, including grape trellis wires, poultry cages wires, and specialized farming and fencing products.
Mentioning about the coming months, Mr. Bansal said, “We remain confident about the opportunities ahead. Our priorities are clear to strengthen our leadership in the steel wire industry, increase the contribution from specialty wire products, and expand our B2C business and execute our capacity expansions efficiently”. The company is expanding its manufacturing capacity at its plants in Dadri and Sanand.
